The Informers is a collection of loosely connected short stories. The stories take place in Los Angeles in what appears to be the 1980's. Drug use and sex prevail through most of the stories and overall the characters are unlikeable. There are a couple of stories that show how the glitz and glamour of Hollywood can change a person but overall i found the book a mess. I didn't care for anyone or what was going to happen next. I did finish only because i respected the authors previous work. This was just not the book for me.★ ★
