Tim is an average divorced dad. With a teenage daughter who spends time a his home every summer. Sydney, his daughter has a job at a local motel working the front desk. One morning Tim and his daughter have a small fight and she storms out of the house to go to work. When his daughter does not return from work at her usual time Time starts to get worried. He goes to the motel where Sydney works and no one there has ever seen her. They say that she has never worked there and they don't know who she is.So starts one of the most exciting books I have read this year. Fear The Worst is the definition of a page turner. I could not put it down until I finished it. Every question that is answered only brings up two more in its place. The pace is fast and furious and makes for a great read. I will definitely be checking out Linwood Barclay's previous books
